Similoluwa Sowunmi is a multipotentialite and a dynamic
Changemaker with a mandate to bring Healing, Help, Hope and
Justice to a generation of women.
Raised as a voice, as the Executive Director & Founder of Impact
Lead Africa, she runs with a mission to redefine the narrative of
Gender Equality and with a vision to place Africa on the frontline
of Gender Equality globally, leveraging on technology as a core
innovation tool.
She is a Certified Mediator and Conciliator and a Member of the
Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (MICMC),
Nigeria. A Law Student at the University of Lagos, Nigeria;
Similoluwa is a member of Associations ranging from The Mooting
Society Unilag, ADR Society Unilag, Tax Club Unilag and the Forum
For Emerging Technology, Unilag. Additionally, she is a member of
the Justice Kayode Eso Students Chambers, University of Lagos and
she once served as the Chamber’s Website and Communications
Director.
Thriving in a male-dominated field, Similoluwa is a Software
Engineer, working with Tech Startups building problem-solving
products in industries ranging from the Agri-Tech to the
Gospel-Tech space. She’s a multifaceted professional, blending her
roles as a Certified Product Manager and a Certified Scrum Master.
As a two-time UN Women UK CSW Official Delegate, 2024 Public
policy and management trainee of the Emerging Leaders Program by
the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership
Center, West Africa, Accra, Class of 2024 Savvy Global Fellow,

impact. Her journey includes affiliations as an alumna of Women In
Tech Nigeria, SheCodes, Flourish Africa and Africa Agility, Legal
Intern of the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse andd the tier-1
law firm - Aluko & Oyebode | ALN Nigeria.
Similoluwa identifies as a Partner in Purpose, partnering with God
in serving the vision of another as well as serving the vision of
God over her life. She is the Executive Assistant to P.Daniel
Olawande and Brand Assistant to Nifemi Olawande.
One of her greatest strengths is being able to translate visions
and goals into actionable, feasible and administrative steps. When
she’s not brainstorming on the next global solution and how
technology can aid the fight against sexual violence, she’s either
working on tech projects, listening to her favourite Christian
audios, reading books or journalling.
